Scrum Master Certification by Scrum.org
The certification as Scrum Master by Scrum.org is designed for interested beginners to the Scrum framework, primarily from the software industry. A transfer of the ideas and principles to other fields is however possible — such as Product Development, Service Design, Organizational Development. Scrum is particularly appropriate in project situations that favor an explorative approach to cope with continuous change.
The certification is designed for Scrum Masters and other agile practitioners to signal their understanding of the framework and principles to employers and customers.
A requirement for passing the assessment is a profound familiarity with basic Scrum principles as described in the Scrum Guide and further recommended reads.

Eligibility, Validity, and Exam Procedure
Eligibility
There are no formal prerequisites for exam eligibility.
Validity
The Scrum Master credentials by Scrum.org have no expiration date.
Exam Procedure
The exam consists of 80 multiple choice questions that have to be answered within 1 hour. The passing score is 85%. Further details about the certification are described on the Scrum.org website.
We support organizations to qualify their employees for the certification exam upon request. We also carry out preparation seminars for the academic sector.
Language Options
The exam is done in English. German-speaking students receive help with the definition and translation of necessary terms, and they can download a translated version of the Scrum Guide for further help with understanding the concepts and terminology. However, sufficient English skills to understand exam questions and answers will be necessary.
