Spot-on for customer projects: Making profit with happy customers

Business training for project managers

This new seminar is aimed at project managers managing customer projects.

Customer projects are different from internal projects. Project managers have to "bring money home" and ensure customer satisfaction. This is especially demanding when customer projects are carried out in complex and dynamic supplier networks.

Project managers have to consider the interests of at least two parties - customers and contractors - and contribute to establishing a "Mission Success First" culture.

Customer projects can be very profitable and the demand is steadily increasing. They are also high risk business, as well as a constant challenge to the integrity of all people involved, requiring the ability to "team up" across company borders.

Seminar contents:

  • The business process in the customer project
  • Win the customer and make the project a success
  • "Completing vs. Competing"
  • Advanced methods for conflict resolution
  • Avoiding crisis
  • Stakeholder management (dealing with involved and affected people) in the customer projects
  • Basic contracting issues in international project supply networks (PSNs)
  • Rescue projects in crisis with benefit engineering
  • Finish customer projects profitably and with a happy customer
